- Ready to Volunteer? Fill out our Volunteer Interest Form and we’ll find the right role that suites your availability and your skills!
- LABEL EVERYTHING – Backpack, Lunchbox, Water Bottle, Jackets, etc. (Consider Mabel’s Labels and support BASIS Richardson)
At-Home Work (for Kindergarten)
- Parents work with your kids on letter recognitions, counting to 10 and knowing their colors. Help give them a head start!
- Get your child ready for the carpool lane! Practice unbuckling and buckling their seatbeat!
- Get your child ready for the lunch room! Practice opening packages by themselves.
Back-to School Night Schedule
- Kindergarten Back-to-School Night- Friday, July 31 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Grades 1–8 Back-to-School Night- Monday, August 3
- 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Last Names A–M
- 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Last Names N–Z
- Make up Back-to- School Night August 5th 3-6pm
- Back to School BBQ August 7th 3-6pm
- First Day of School August 11th – Doors open at 7AM, Anticipate a LONG LINE! BASIS Richardson is a closed campus, families should avoid planning on entering campus (but come to our Parent event next door)
- Welcome Back Parent Meet & Greet August 11th- 7-9:30am. Drop off your student, then head over to HEXA (next door to BASIS). Look for the balloon entrance from the parking lot. Come meet other parents, grab coffee, and learn more about the Booster organization. Optional Booster Meeting: 8:00–9:00 AM

Why Join the Boosters:
Our Boosters organization comprises of parents, teachers, administrators and community members dedicated to supporting every child in reaching their maximum potential.
Membership dues, donations and volunteer hours play a pivotal role in funding the majority of school events and activities. While attendance at meetings and volunteering is optional, active participation from our community enhances the overall school experience.
